- Spray Round Up 7-14 days prior to laying new Turf while existing lawn is healthy to kill all weeds.
- 150mls of Round Up mixed with water per 100m2.
- Remove all vegetation - Bobcat or hire Turf Cutter.
- In heavy soil or clay areas use Gypsum to break the soil up, at 25kg to 100m2 raked in.
- In light / sandy soil areas use Dolomite / Lime, raked in at 25kg per 100m2.
- Cover area with a good quality screened Turf underlay soil to a depth of 75mm to 100mm.
- Rake soil smooth approximately 20mm below pathways and driveways.
- Apply a pre-lawn starter fertilizer prior to laying the new Turf at the rate of 8 - 10 kg per 100m2.
